Alum stone
a-per© alum deodorant is built up on natural mineral alunite. The stone contains no additives such as fragrances, dyes, or preservatives. The alum has astringent and antiseptic properties, which explains its use as a deodorant: Due to its sealing properties the formation of sweat and due to its disinfectant characteristics the bacteria and odour formation is slowed down. The astringent properties also manifest themselves as styptic, which is the reason why alum stone has also proven itself for the use as an aftershave.
